Donnavan Gordon was born in Port Antonia, Jamaica. He now resides in St. August Bay, Portland, Jamaica. Donnavan is a very talent young man. He played all the instruments on this CD and sang all the music. Donnavan is now one of the band leaders for Carnival Cruise Line.
He is very passionate about his music and his beliefs. He uses his music to express the good and bad of life. For instance his song "Mr. Greedy", tells of a man who has everything, but wants more. A man who never sees or recognizes the poor around him.
His song "Driving Drunk" gives insight into the many problems of alcohol in our society. My favorite "Jah Is Real" which means God Is Real is inspirational and has a good beat. All of his music is great to listen or dance to.
