About Aliso Black
Hip Hop forever. Just look how California based MC Aliso Black ensures that it is. Aliso Black stays in his own creative realm, bringing excitement to his music showing himself through each line. With rymes like, "Up & at um gimme ya adams apple/actual facts of cannibal actions/dude thats passive actually packing/blew ya brains away violentley scattered/ Black lights in the dash looking like Manhattan". "Black Light" ..All lyrics no gimmicks! Born and raised in Garrard County, Kentucky in the late 70’s, Aliso Black was raised by his grandmother. Spending summers between his father in Kentucky and his mother in California. In 1986 his grandmother became ill and wasn’t able to keep up with the young boy. He then chose to move to Orange County with his mother, were he began to develop a passion for music. Now the aspiring MC has wrapped up his debut EP “Psych Ward Presents Aliso Black Patient 413”, which he produced with close friends whom make up the Psych Ward. Aliso Black has experienced local success in Orange County, due to performing in shows and promoting his own music. He is currently in the studio working on a full length album set to be released sometime in 2008 on independent label Landmark Records, LLC. With a titled TBD. Networking and building relationships have given him the opportunity to work with artist from Kentucky to California, receive reviews in urban magazines, and be heard on local radio. Aliso Black with his name coming from a small town in OC. Still looks to expand locally. He continues to push the Psych Ward EP and his upcoming full length album while on the mixtape circuit. Recently performing at the ROC a well known venue in Costa Mesa to a sold out crowd due to Aliso Black & other West Coast artist the response was crazy. Listening to Aliso Black you’re sure to get what you should expect from a Hip Hop artist, individualism, clever punch lines, stories, raw emotion, humor .All of which you will find on the “Psych Ward Presents…Aliso Black Patient 413” EP.
