Aubrey was born and raised in Denver, CO. Aubrey started singing when she was about five years old., she comes from a musical family and from a very young age her mother taught her harmonies and rhythms. Aubrey’s faith journey began with a family who put the Lord first and encouraged
her to grow in her faith.
Aubrey attended Crossroads American Baptist Church, where she was baptized. As Aubrey got older she was very involved at church and continued to be encouraged by her grandparents to have faith and put all trust in the Lord. She also continued with her passion for music by singing in youth choirs, musicals, and learning to play the trumpet. When she entered high school she sang in several choirs and played in a couple of bands. She became a leader in her youth group and continued to learn about the Lord’s love. While attending Crossroads she sang in their high school choir called Upward Bound, it was a great ministering opportunity. Upward Bound was a touring
ministry that went all over the country to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.
As a senior, Aubrey ventured out to an Assembly of God church and experienced praise and worship in a deeper sense; her prayer life also became more fervent and fruitful. She attended Abundant Life Christian Center and started leading a praise and worship band for youth nights.
In early college years the Lord stayed constant, but Aubrey didn’t do much singing.
In 2000, Aubrey met her husband Adrian who was Roman Catholic. Aubrey didn’t know what the Lord had in store for her. In January 2001, Aubrey and Adrian were married and their first child was on the way. Aubrey started attending the Catholic Church with Adrian. After four years of being married and learning about the Catholic faith, Aubrey knew that the Lord was calling her
into a deeper relationship and a community within the Catholic Church.
Adrian is currently the youth minister at Church of the Risen Christ in Denver, CO. Aubrey volunteers as an adult leader for high school teens; she is also part of the music ministry and sings for the LIFE TEEN Mass. Aubrey and Adrian have four children, 3 boys and 1 girl. Aubrey works part-time as a waitress at Maggiano’s Little Italy. Needless to say she is quite busy, so when she decided to start writing music and recording, it was nothing less than the Holy Spirit who did the nudging and the inspiring.
Aubrey is described by others to be filled with joy that is contagious. Listening to her voice is seen as captivating, a voice that leads you into the sacred. Aubrey’s debut album, Redeemed, which includes all original songs is a simple but profound message of what the Lord has done in her life and is truly a reflection of Christ’s love. Redeemed is a transforming experience and you will find yourself singing the melody in your head or out loud. Aubrey’s desire is to be transparent so others may come to know a God that is personal and intimate, a God who forgives and who has given us hope and a God she has come to know through her faith journey.
