The characters in this book are awesome. Theyre developed in such a way that readers cant help but understand why their emotions lead them to make decisions and carry out certain actions in order to achieve their goals.
Despite Kai and Genaes story starting in the previous two books of the series, Angelina Evans does such a wonderful job of providing character description, fluid dialogue, and plot details that this story can be read as a stand alone. In fact, until I reviewed this book, I didnt even know the first two books in the series were about Kai and Genae. As a result of reading this enjoyable story - I plan to purchase the preceding books as soon as I am able to. [Grin] Ill certainly be on the look out for Paladin and Llaryns story, which I hope isnt in the too distant future.
