So this is where we write all that boring shit like; Hot Buttered Anal was formed in 2005 by Bob Cocks and Chris, blah-blah-blah, blah-blah-blah, so on and so on and so on. No thanks; we are just as tired as the same old shit as you are. Instead we will give you something a little more personal and hopefully a bit more interesting to read.
To start; Chris, Ziggy, and Bob have been friends longer then most of you have been alive. But despite all being very different people, they still have a common bond of going against the grain and saying, “Fuck you” to the man! By day, they do their best to fit into the mainstream with mundane jobs. By night, they drink whiskey, read comics, play WoW/EQ, talk about zombies taking over the world, and play angry music.
Bob and Chris have spent more then 20 years playing in thrash and death metal bands. Ziggy
on the other hand is very selective and HBA has been the only band he wishes to jam with. Together as HBA, they do not follow any pattern or fit into any mold when writing music. If
they wanted to please the masses, they would be writing the shit you hear on American Idol.
Lyrically, HBA range from the extremely violent to the completely absurd and everything in-between. And if you look hard enough, you will even get some of their twisted humor.
So there it is. A band of friends making angry, wacky music to let off some steam and help
you think “outside” of the box at times. Most won''t like them, many won''t understand them,
and HBA could really care less. It is quality of fans, not quantity of fans that counts.
