Details:
They have been described as groundbreaking new rock from Seattle as their self-produced debut CD "last one to drown..." has received rave reviews and quickly gained the interest of record labels as well as plenty of other prominent figures in the music industry. .drop six. is currently unsigned and looking for legal representation and management. The fact that promoters repeatedly book .drop six. on account of their incredible live show and impressive drawing power, which continues to grow stronger, proves that they are definitely one of the hardest working independent bands around.

The list of labels who have received the first CD effort (featuring the songs "Scattered" and "Coincidence") along with press kits from .drop six. includes Universal, Geffen, Interscope, Epic, Roadrunner, Spunout, Hollywood and Pinch Hit among others.

Andrew Goodfriend of The Agency Group has also expressed quite a bit of interest in the band after hearing so much about them from Mudvayne singer Chad Gray, who was introduced to .drop six. in December of 2002, as they were the opening act for a sold out Mudvayne show at the Moore Theater in Seattle, WA.

Since then, both crowd size and record sales have continued to rise for .drop six. as they have also shared the stage with such acts as Fear Factory, Ill Nino, Trust Company, Twiztid, Pigmy Love Circus featuring Danny Carey of Tool, Mix Mob, Closure, Hell''s Belles and even Ron Jeremy, just to name a few. Their fan base grows substantially each time the band is placed in front of a new crowd. This has helped earn them the privilege of being one of the few unsigned Northwest area bands that Thrasher Presents often calls on to fill any bills featuring larger national acts that have room for one more band as their tour heads through the Seattle area.

.drop six. is currently receiving airplay from several radio stations across the nation as well as the cable/satellite music service known as Music Choice. The Music Choice Rock Channel has had them listed twice now in its weekly top ten, first at number 5 just above Godsmack and 3 Doors Down and then again at number 6, coming in just behind Kid Rock. They were also placed in the number 3 position on the slate of bands most added for available radio airplay on Friday Morning Quarter Back''s Radio First website with Elektra records'' Blindside topping the list at #1.

Do not miss this opportunity to discover a band that is bound to take the entertainment world by storm... .drop six.

From the moment they arrived on the scene .drop six. has received enormous response. Playing their first show in the spring of 2001, they are currently the premier hard rock band in the Pacific Northwest. Posessing originality and a powerful sound as well as a powerful presence, .drop six. continues to make a name for themselves as the word spreads like wildfire.

When two of the most popular Seattle based bands in the local scene''s recent history disbanded, they definitely left a void in the area''s club circut as a result. Members of these two defunct bands, Local 808 and BuKu FuNGi, saw the potential to reach levels of musical creativity and intuition beyond any they had experienced in a band before. That potential became what is now .drop six.

With six band members and their explosive live show .drop six. projects extraordinary amounts of energy and receives unbelievable crowd response at every show they play, as the exchange between the stage and the audience is so intense, it keeps both the band and the fans wanting more.

Having chosen their name based on the idea that there is no commonly associated meaning, the band, while current-sounding, has a sound all its own. Singers, Chad and Nate, (who happen to be blood related brothers) take full advantage of their dual vocal style by incorporating a lot of harmonizing and layering into their songwriting, which is one element that helps set .drop six. apart from other bands who are currently successful in the rock realm. While radio friendly and comparable to bands like Godsmack and Linkin Park, their music doesn''t sound like more of the same stuff we''re hearing all over the place everyday, it''s definitely refreshing.

The percussive flavors of drummer Jeremy Pierce along with Jacy Peckham''s low and beefy bass tone thickening the bottom end, allow the band''s rhythm section to take a step forward in the music while still nailing the foundation. Embracing a less traditional approach to having two guitar players in a band, Danny Green and Mischa Peckham create unique guitar textures by throwing down solid, heavy riffs and then taking turns stepping up to intertwine melodies, nuances and subtleties, always knowing when to lay back and use space. They toss these elements and themes back and forth throughout the music with skill and style, making for cool contrast that definitely compliments the band. The fact that one of their guitarists is male and the other is female makes for a pretty cool contrast as well.

Not only has .drop six. earned quite a reputation with their live performance, but the band has also established excellent rapport with the local and national promoters they have continued to work with over the last few years including Thrasher Presents, Deb Rock, Chris Beno - owner of Seattle''s Graceland, Rick Wyatt of the Fenix and Tonya Terbrueggen at the historic Central Saloon in Pioneer Square, among others.

The band recorded their debut album "Last One to Drown" with Producer/engineer Geoff Ott at three different Northwest area studios. Starting at London Bridge, owned by Rick Parishar and then doing some work at Robert Lang Studios as well as Geoff Ott''s own Ott Topsey Room. They have sold nearly every copy that was pressed within a very short amount of time, and the demand for more is high as they currently write new material with plans to release another .drop six. album. Their existing fan base continues to grow and spread throughout the country as their online sales, show attendance and radio airplay clearly show that they are doing something that is definitely viable in today''s marketplace.

If you haven''t heard them, listen. If you haven''t been to their show, go. If you didn''t understand before, you will.
