Bob Blake aka/"Dr. Bob" (The Music Doctor) is a Singer/Guitar Player/
Song Writer/Teacher and has been since the early 6o''s. He runs a Coffeehouse in Coconut Creek Florida at the Broward Community College North Regional Library usually on the last Saturday of the month from Sept, thru May from 2 to 4 PM and a Song Writer''s Program on the 1st Saturday of each month Sept. thru May from 1 PM to 2:30 PM
He also teaches guitar & Song Writing At 4 local Community Schools and performs
At mainly Nursing Homes, Assisted Living & Independent Living Facilities as well as Condo''s and Private Parties. Bob was in bands Called The Ramrods Four and The Epics in the late 50''s and early 60''s. The Ramrods Four later became the Rockin'' Ramrods and eventually transformed into the nationally known group Sha Na Na. (According to Rolling Stone Magazine) While in the Ramrods Four Bob and the group Backed such stars as Danny and the Juniors, Jan and Dean & Del Shannon and were on shows with Duane Eddy, The Angels, Linda Scott, Adam Wade & Tommy Boyce (of Boyce & Hart writers of a lot of the Monkees songs).
Bonnie Handler is A Singer/Guitar Player and has played with several Bluegrass Bands as well as performing with Bob & Lobna.
Lobna Ruben is a Singer/ Guitar Player and has been working with Bob on both Programs for children and his regular programs.
On this CD the girls are mainly doing Back-up vocals and or harmony with Bob but other Cd''s are planned with both girls doing some solos.
Also on this CD are two songs with back-up vocals by Julie B. (Fort Lauderdale & Massachusetts) Juli is Bob''s daughter and a fine singer in her own right and performed with Bob for many years as she was growing up.
