Progressive Roots Rock with a swampy groove, is one way to describe the Dutch/American band Swamp Chicken. Their music features, smoky vocals, rippin’ organ, vintage slide guitar, set against a fat grooving rhythm section.
Founded in Utrecht in 1998, Swamp Chicken has developed into a strong live act with a broad repertoire of mainly original songs for which it found inspiration in great bands of the 70''s such as Little Feat, The Grateful Dead , The Band, and more contemporary bands like CPR and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
