DREAMER band members consist of California transplant turned Omaha, Nebraska resident Bill Sedat on vocals and guitars, multi-instrumentalist Darrell Harvey from San Diego, California, adding bass, keyboards, backing vocals, along with engineering expertise, and Randy Ratkowski, from Temecula, California on drums. With that line up, this synergistic trio fuses together elements of hard rock, power pop, and world class performances to create a distinctive, yet familiar sound that is now instantly identifiable as DREAMER.
The DREAMER CD project initially began with a repertoire of Bill Sedat''s songs, which through collaboration, quickly developed into the characteristic DREAMER sound. The collective result of these collaborative efforts have been melded into an exceptional compilation of original songs that are now available on their newly released CD entitled Forever. The Forever CD delivers an aggressive modern rock sound that is infused with complex guitar textures and effective vocal arrangements.
The recording portion of the Forever CD began in San Diego, California at Studio West, and completed in Omaha, Nebraska at Bill Sedat''s personal recording facility called Electric Blue. Through their extensive writing, producing, and playing abilities, DREAMER is able to contrast power with nuance, and subtlety with authority, to produce a complex arrangement of heavily orchestrated melodic rock that will unquestionably inject a whole new level of enthusiasm into rock n'' roll for all generations to enjoy.
No strangers to the music industry, Dreamer members have worked with many major music industry acts. Darrell Harvey has engineered for artists such as Blink 182, Patti LaBelle, Jars of Clay, Joan Osbourne, and many others. In fact, on the Forever CD, you''ll hear Bobby Berge, drummer from the original Tommy Bolin band, playing on a remake of "Lotus" from the Tommy Bolin "Teaser" album.
