Kula - short for Kulasekhara das, (Yes, Kula Shaker, the band asked to use my name - spelled differently).
In 1969 I did lights for “The Byrds" and "Pink Floyd" and was an Apple Record’s Recording Artist as a member of the "Radha Krishna Temple". I recorded four times with George Harrison - playing Tablas.
Since that time I have studied Vedic Philosophy, as well as the skills to create this CD. Most of the music on this CD was created in “Garage Band” in an iMac G5. I also designed the cover art, it is called "Freeway" and is in C3-D.
There was a guest guitarist on “Incarnate” - Steve Taddy. I engineered, wrote and sing all the songs and play Bass and Hand Drum on “Maya”, and Cymbals and Mrdunga on “Kirtan”.
"The life and works of Colin Jury have always interested me. His dedication to life and compassionate energy remains above reproach as an artist and a human being. We have shared our hopes and dreams for over 35 years for a better world and peace for all living things... It is now time to share his artistic gifts and his gifted talents."
