Les Issambres wishes you a Merry Christmas!
Highly productive Les Issambres are finishing of 2007 with a second album. On december 7th their christmas album entitled Merry Christmas will be released on Fifth Week Records. With Merry Christmas Les Issambres takes us on a short christmas-journey starting off in the melancolia of track "Badly drawn boy", over the absurd saga "Christmas hid behind that door" and the bitterness of "Christmas sucks anyway, everything is shit!" through more conventional christmas songs like "Santa Claus (I know tippy toe)", ending in the regular christmas poptrack "Magical Christmas".
The band Les Issambres is mainly based i Stockholm, Sweden. Their previous releases on Fifth Week Records are Late Fairytales (2007), Les Issambres (2005) and Sand Theatre Poetry (2004). Les Issambres music is mainly characterised as indie or folk. The album Merry Christmas is shelved in a hand made christmas card.
