Biography
The band LIQUOR BOXX is finally among us. Years in the making. These four incredibly talented musicians and close friends came together to create a sound they believe in. Something that differs from the main stream scenester type "noise" that''s out there and popular today. We have songs that ring bells in your heart and soul, body and mind, and places you never thought you would find. Liquor Boxx plays many styles of rock. Although always rockin'', Liquor Boxx plays aggressive rock through softer alternative rock. Any kind of rock they play will simply make you scream for more. The product that is their music, is much more than a sound. There is a life form in the music they create. The music is not something of the future, nor past. They create and control what is alive in the room at that moment, emotion. Whether playing to two people that have never heard of Liquor Boxx, to sold out Chicago venues before thousands, these young, talented musicians know all to well it can be found anywhere at anytime. If you see LIQUOR BOXX perform live, you may find out for yourself what a song sounds like when musicians work with feel and an impulsive contagious vibe. LIQUOR BOXX is not easily described but rather witnessed. These events of the evening, you experience it... The actual product of good music is looking around and noticing that everyone else is enjoying the same thing as yourself.
KEVIN MACE
Kevin was given his first acoustic guitar by his mother for Christmas in 1995. Influenced by Dave Mathews, The Grateful Dead, Phish, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin, he began to evolve as a musician. He developed a singer songwriter mindset, and a style that was all his own. His latest project, "LIQUOR BOXX," is a small group of very talented musicians with energy, style and feel. Kevin has developed an appetite for destruction. Being compared by some as the next Robert Plant. With his wide range and adlib feel for accentuating notes, he is a true melody in motion. His appetite for women is just as large as his appetite for music. When Kevin Mace steps on stage, it is his; he controls it, along with your ears, eyes, and soul.
PATRICK CREEDON
Patrick started to play guitar in the fall of 1995 when he was 13 years old. Influenced by Jimi Hendrix, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Allman Brothers, SRV, and Satriani, he is the wild man of the bunch. With an almost obsessive attention to detail, he picked apart the works of these masters and created his own style. While working at Buddy Guy''s, Patrick listened, learned, and played with some of Chicago''s blues greats. Patricks philosophy is that anyone can go to school and be told what to play. Look at sheet music and play notes. Its the magic and the ability to reach inside yourself. Pour every ounce of emotion into every note so the entire audience can feel exactly what you have created. His over the head, behind the back guitar acrobatics make him a party to watch, but it is Patrick''s incredible taste and feel that makes his live performance an unforgettable experience.
JOHNNY "DRAMA" STONEKING
Johnny began playing drums at fourteen. Influenced by Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix, and GnR, an aggressive drummer was in the works. Playing in many bands as a young teen such as Fall out Boys original roots, and hanging with the young punk crowd in High School many newer styles of music were brought to his attention. Growing up in Schaumburg, IL, across the street from Mike Cardin of The Academy Is, and attending High School with many musicians who are breaking out he sees a promising future ahead. Johnny waits impatiently for his turn to be on The O.C. After High School he left for California in search of being a rockstar. Leaving home behind and working hard on pushing music as a main source of income he pursued studio drumming with well know Labels. His chops and skills were filtered and purified while attending sessions with legends. Going back to Chicago he fell into exactly what he had just left. Being introduced by chance to Ministry, Kanye West, R. Kelley and all of ChiWest Records, he began doing studio drumming in Chicago for Studio Chicago, the premier studio for all musicians. Living in the Old Hersey Chocolate Factory on the west side/ghetto of Chicago he soon found the rest of Liquor Boxx on the roof one late summer night... from there on it''s been a blur.
MARTIN "FARELLI" FARRELLY
Marty began his musical journey at the age of 11, when his father purchased an acoustic guitar. Funny thing is, that guitar wasn''t for him. Days and days of Marty''s dad freaking out had passed. Seeing as though his newly purchased guitar was suddenly missing. It took about three months before it was clear, Marty was not giving up that guitar. Since then Marty has broadend his musical horizons, trying anything and everything that entails music an talent. Music is his passion, his love, his escape, his mental band-aid. There is a certain pride, a certain swagger that can only come from a true lover of music. Now, in the summer of 2007 he has joined forces with the eclectic yet refined sounds of LIQUOR BOXX, and the love continues.

Formed in late 2005 Liquor Boxx has played over 400 shows in Chicago to the east coast. In June 2007 Liquor Boxx left on a national tour playing from Indiana, Cleveland, New York, down to Georgia and every state in between. They have played at the famous Lions Den where such artists as Derek Trucks, Susan Teduschi, and Phish have performed. Liquor Boxx has played concert halls and amphitheaters in front of 5000+ in attendance and small intimate shows where the room only allows 50. Drummer Johnny Stoneking played with Fallout Boy as there original drummer when they first began, and guitarist Patrick Creedon worked at and played with Buddy Guy in 2002. After creating such a buzz out on the east coast, Liquor Boxx continues touring to New Orleans, Texas, midwest and then to Vegas, California and everywhere!
