Lynette Moffitt Mondy
Professional Songwriter/Singer/Musician/Yodeler
Lynette is a professional songwriter with membership in BMI
and is a member of the Colorado Music Association. She is an accomplished singer and musician, playing a variety of
instruments. Lynette yodels and also writes and performs
gospel music.
Her song "Colorado Mountain Blue", on the Colorado Mountain
Blue album, received a Songwriter Award at the Colorado
Country Music Association Awards. Also she received an
Entertainer Award.
Lynette''s style is hard to put into one genre. It has
influences of folk, country and even bluegrass. She grew
up on a ranch in Colorado and her love of the land and
nature has been an influence on her songwriting. Her interst in Colorado History and Legends shows in many of
the songs on this album, including "Old Mose (The Legend of Black Mountain)".
Lynette lives in Canon City, Colorado and performs with the
"Mountain Blue Band". She consistently appears for a variety of regional festivals and events, including weekly
dances and concerts.
