Details:
"Mission Stories is a collection of songs about things that have happened to me in my life, and things that I believe in. I wanted to write songs that others could listen to and relate to. In my other bands I always felt we were writing material that didn''t have much heart, so I really focused on things that mean a lot to me while I was writing this album. Some of the tunes are still light hearted and fun, but the majority of songs I think say something. Most of the best songs just came to me, while others were in the works for awhile."

In 2000, Rich decided he wanted to record his own album of songs. So, in April he went down to the local music store and bought a bunch of recording gear. ("I soon learned there was a lot more to recording than just hitting the record button. It''s like a craft. The more you spend, (money and time) the better the recording usually sounds. Recording and mixing my own album was not easy. Not only did I have to write all the songs, I recorded, mixed, produced and arranged all the material for the CD, while, going to school, playing in two bands and working full time.") A year and a half later, "Mission Stories" was born.

More About Rich
Rich was born in California, where he lived until he was 10 years old. He was your average everyday kid.

("My brothers used to listen to a lot of hard rock. The older stuff, Styx, Rush, Boston, The Cars etc. Even before I played my fist guitar, I was intrigued with the sound.")

His family packed up and moved to Utah and at age fourteen, using his paper route money, he bought his first guitar from a Sears catalog.

("I don''t think my mom liked the idea of me buying an electric guitar. I think she thought it was a waste of time. She used to pay for my piano lessons, but I lost interest in the piano. Later though, she did pay for some guitar lessons. My older brothers, always encouraged me to keep playing the guitar, and I remember them getting excited about going to Concerts.")

Rich played in a lot of garage bands and in jazz band in high school, to help hone his craft. After high school he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints to the Michigan Lansing Mission. After his mission, in college, he played in a band called BrotherSage.

("BrotherSage did two CD''s together and we played about every weekend in clubs, at college functions, and dances. I learned a lot from the experience. I didn''t start singing until the band broke up. When BrotherSage finally threw in the towel, It was like freedom. I joined a couple of other bands and started to try my hand at singing and playing the guitar. I didn''t really start singing until about 5 years ago. I am in the process of releasing a second album, so please check my website for updates and info.")
