True Witness has been around since 2002. Their music is a blend of acoustic and electric rock. The band released their first CD album, "Origins" on December 16, 2007 at The Walter Hoving Home in Garrison, NY. All of the profits from the "Origins" album will be donated to The Walter Hoving Homes (https://www.tradebit.com). True Witness will be releasing their second album, "Once in Time" this Spring ''08. True Witness plays just about everywhere, bringing their unique style of music to all venues.
Tim Adams sings lead vocals for the band and plays acoustic guitar and piano. Dan Adams plays bass guitar and sings background vocals. Tom Bowen, plays lead guitar (both acoustic and electric), banjo, cello and sings background vocals. Tim, Dan and Tom bring a creative edge to True Witness. They compose the music, and tweak each instrument to create the sound you hear. All the music performed by True Witness is original, written and composed by the band. Chris Bowen writes the lyrics for all of True Witness songs. Chris is a published poet and photographer. Chris writes the lyrics as if she is explaining the experiences of life and God’s love through the eyes of her heart. Experience is a source of learning for any writer. Combine that with extreme faith and you have the music of True Witness. Chris Bowen plays the clarinet and percussion in the band. Also in the band are Heather Adams on keyboard, Kim Adams on flute, and Bill Paschall on drums.
The band sings their testimony, and the music reaches out to all people, everywhere. The music of True Witness is about life, truth, hope, and the love that only Christ could bring from our Father in Heaven. Love is enough. True Witness is tocused and Christ-centered. Psalm 150 “Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”
