Details:
Dynamo Jump was born when several musicians started playing together in the Ventura and Santa Barbara, California music scene. After some time, the current line-up was solidified and a vast set list was compiled. Combining blues and R&B hits from the likes of Arthur Crudup, Louis Jordan, and Ray Charles with rock-n-roll classics by Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, and Elvis Presley, the band soon attracted a following that would allow them to play any great song regardless of genre.

Soon jazz standards from Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, and Sonny Rollins were set up next to songs from The Band, Bob Dylan, and Van Morrison. Country tunes from Hank Williams and Bob Wills were in the same set as Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Rolling Stones. Lurking in the shadows was everything from surf instrumentals to free-form jazz improvisation. After a year or so and hundreds of shows later, Dynamo Jump was ready to play and record it''s own brand of good time music.

Drummer and singer, Jerry McWorter, soon began flexing his songwriting muscles. His songs incorporate all of Dynamo Jumps'' many influences with an ear for melody and groove.

Each player adding his own stamp and style creates a truly unique sound.
Guitarist Doug Daily plays soulful blues and scorching rock-n-roll, all with an inventive and original touch. Pianist J. D. Bender''s jazz background helps bring an uptown edge, while his firm grip of rock and blues retain the down and dirty swing.
Joseph Luna plays saxophone like you want to hear saxophone, raw and emotional. His knowledge of R&B and New Orleans styles lends the record an authentic flavor.

Bass duties were split between group member Jay Zemliak and part time member Brent Harding. Each plays string bass and keeps Dynamo Jump solid and swinging.

Special guest Mitch Kashmar brings his harmonica mastery and lends his soulful voice to the mix.

All songs on "Dynamo Jump" were written, produced, and engineered by Jerry McWorter & Brent Harding and recorded at STUDIO 84 in Ventura, CA. Themes range from the love that got away to the love you can''t wait to get home to. "Six days in New Orleans" tells the story of a man riding the rails through the night to spend six quick days with his special girl. "Rent Party Boogie" swings the tale of a group of fellas throwing a party to raise some much needed money, with the fun crowd at Dynamo Jumps'' most frequented club in Ventura, Bernadette''s on Main, lending it''s help by chanting along with the group on the last chorus.
From straight swing to Cajun boogie, from rock-n-roll to talkin'' blues, the songs all have a unique take on universal every-man themes.

Frequent live guest appearances from the likes of renowned guitarist Albert Lee keep their audiences growing and establish Dynamo Jump as a group of world class musicians. Local radio stations have plugged the band as "a great evening out," playing cuts from their album and even having the band come in to the studio for interviews and live performances. Critics have long sung praise for Dynamo Jump as a sensational live act. L. A. Times writer, Bill Locey, consistently lists them as "the band to see" in the local music scene.

Dynamo Jump - the purveyors of fine jams.
A truly jumpin'' good time!
