Details:
Though he is best known as a romantic, The Minstrel Lutenist definitely has a bawdy side! People often hear him refer to this one as his "Greatest Tits Album." Most of the compositions, and even more of the lyrics, come from the naughty minstrel''s own pen. Exceptions are two little 18th-century gems from the Thomas D''Urfey collections, two traditional favorites, and a happy venture into the 20th century with "Breakfast Blues" (by Ronnie Levine) - Recorded LIVE in concert and featuring Craig Merlin Broers on upright jazz bass with inspired solos by guitarist friends Jerry Barry and Ty Billings (whose "scat" is not to be missed!) Craig of Farrington is a very funny fellow!
