THOUGHTS OF HOME is an intimate and warm Christmas collection that features the talents of three unique artists, Scott Hiltzik, Helena Buscema and Greg Porée. Traditional carols and original compositions are included in this acoustic set that blends jazz, classical, folk and pop.
Vocalist Helena Buscema has been featured in numerous films and television and in concert. She is the musical director of Hope Lutheran Church in Hollywood, California and cantor of St. Monica''s Church in Santa Monica, California.
Pianist and composer Scott Hiltzik has had his music performed by major orchestras, including the Baltimore Symphony, the San Francisco, Atlanta, and Detroit Symphony Orchestras, the Brooklyn Philharmonic and the Boston Pops in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera house. He performs and records with different bands and ensembles in the Los Angeles area.
Guitarist Greg Poree is a Los Angeles based session and recording artist who has worked with artists ranging from James Blunt to Stevie Wonder and is currently the guitarist for the TV show Dancing With The Stars. Greg’s band performs regularly in the Southern California jazz scene and can be seen most often at Red White and Bluezz in Pasadena, Hal’s Bar and Grill in Venice Beach and The Wine Bistro in Studio City.
