Part Hawaiian and raised on Oahu, Kirby has been Kaua`i''s first call stringed instrument session man for years, playing on GRAMMY and Na Hoku Hanohanmo nominated albums for Amy Hanaiali`i Gilliom, Leilani Rivera Bond, Inner Session, Moonbows for Christmas, and many others.
On acoustic or electric guitar, ukulele, mandolin or bass, Kirby has been keeping it Kaua`i Kine for over 25 years. He remains one of Kaua`i''s best loved musicians. Kirby is accompanied by his friends Ken Emerson, Pancho Graham, Pat Cockett and Clyde Letreta.
