Edable Gray broke into the New England music scene in late 1997 with emotion, desire, and intensity.

Immediately, the band captured the attention of audiences, clubs, and press.

As promoters for the Lawrence Bread and Roses Festival observed, "if you''re not up and dancing by the time these guys are through, you better check your pulse!"

That energy level is deeply embedded in their self-titled, 6-song debut, released in December of 1997. The release is representative of the force and liveliness that surrounds the band.

Edable Gray''s genuine mix of Rock, R & B and Hip-Hop Is diverse and innovative.

Edable Gray''s freshman album, along with the energy of their live show, earned the band immediate respect.

In July 1999 they released their sophomore album entitled "Songs from M.A.R.S." which was produced by Marisa T. Dery and features distinguished musicians, such as, The Vine Street Horns (the horn section for Aretha Franklin, Phil Collins, Maceo Parker and was engineered by Don Puluse and Jamie Locke.

Over the last two years, the band has showcased their talent at celebrated venues, such as The House of Blues (Cambridge, MA), The Middle East (Cambridge, MA), T.T. the Bear''s Place (Cambridge, MA), Harper''s Ferry (Allston, MA), CBGB''s (Manhattan, NY), The Bitter End (Manhattan,NY) and Chantilly''s (Manchester, NH).

Also the band has been opening gigs for prominent national and Boston bands, such as, Blessid Union of Souls, the Push Stars (Columbia), Entrain, Bim Skala Bim, and Super Honey.

Which brings us to the present: In July 2000 EG went into the studio with Marisa https://www.tradebit.comy again to record a CD/EP (In Place) for Boston label 1330 Records.

This release chronicles the bands growth as musicians and writers.

Also as the band approaches its third year of captivating New England audiences, they are finding that fans are still hungry for Edable Gray.

"Edable" is for musical food for thought and "Gray" is for many shades in one; a name that fits the band''s unique blend of musicianship.
