Long ago in Texas, Cole Wheeler was discovering his space-rock roots in a band called Mazinga Phaser. He met Sam while visiting a friend in college. Years later, after Sterling, Sam, and Eric had burned out the possibilities of Tommy Tooter and his Glass Dick Orchestra, Cole moved to Kansas City and Sky Burial was born.

Distance to the Ginkgo is their third CD. It, as well as Volumes 1 and 2, are printed on a gorgeous and unique cover by the Hammerpress Printing Company (see https://www.tradebit.com).

Sky Burial''s music has been used in performances by aha! Dance Theatre, and in soundtracks to the movies _Peter''s Price_ by Mitchell L. Cohen, _Mower, Blower & Whacker_ by the Weinberg Brothers, and _Liberty at War_ by Matthew Sweetwood.
