Details:
SoundRabbit formed as a four piece band in January 2007, with their first show at a 1,600-capacity theatre at the University of Wyoming. "Crickets," remembers Chris, the band''s drummer. "But those crickets were dancing, as were the fifty people who came out."
Indeed, SoundRabbit has noticed that their live show has an infectious effect on audiences, and the press has taken note as well. As the title of their debut album would indicate, the rooms are indeed becoming exponentially more crowded... as was the case at their two sold out CD Launch Party shows in Boulder.
The band is creating quite a buzz locally in the Rocky Mountain towns of Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins, and leveraging the web and one-week-a-month regional tours to expand far beyond the state. Described as "non-formulaic music of true songwriters" by Colorado Music Buzz magazine and "kick ass" by national acts like Guster, SoundRabbit has a fervent grassroots following with whom the band stays intimately involved through their web-based Backstage membership program.
