The band has continued to evolve, expand and define their sound with the release of their third full-length album, The Radical. The conceptual basis of the album entails the encounters that a particular individual partakes in while walking the entire length of a street. The music accentuates the story-telling by being subtlety in tune with the lyrics. sharing similar moods and depth. The band plans on further developing the story of The Radical by launching a website that focuses on the conceptual framework of the album.
The creation of the album has been a daunting task since the band first began writing the new songs in their practice space, located on the historical Water Street in downtown St. John’s. The band felt that with a significant line-up change as well as a new musical direction, they could also engage in a more artistic way of producing an album. With their previous work possessing a more organic and raw feel, The Radical differs by being a more constructed, focused and endearing effort.
