About Ingrid
Originally from Springfield, Mo., Gerdes may be a small town girl at heart, but her big voice has earned her honors and awards across the country. At the University of Kansas, Gerdes won Rock Chalk Revue’s Best Actress award in 2001 and 2002. After making her mark in the Midwest, Gerdes moved east to Boston and graduated from the Berklee School of Music. Only 26-years-old, Gerdes currently performs as the lead vocalist with the Boston Players and recently earned a nomination for WBZ-TV (CBS) Boston’s A-List Performers award in 2007. Gerdes also is a voice instructor at the Page Music Lesson Center in Boston.
