Details:
Four piece post-punk band, 2 Many Units, formed in June 2005 after guitarists James Stokell and Sam Wood started writing and performing their own material. Initially influenced by bands like Green Day and Blink 182 they have over the last two years developed their own sound – melodic experimental post-punk with ska, blues and prog influences. They supported the Californian band Takota at the Darlington leg of their UK tour in 2006 and have supported emerging UK bands like Failsafe, Random Hand, and We Start Fires. The band released their debut EP "Breaking Points" in January 2008.
"Music can break my heart or fill me with fire, and I would lay money that 2 Many Units are on the edge of that.."
Alastair Pirrie (Writer and Broadcaster)
"The Worst Feeling ... has pleasingly soaring guitars and an airy melody. There is also a sweetness about the band which is very well showcased on Messed Up, an acoustic track which recalls Oasis when they ditch the bombast."
