Details:
Ari Gold''s Award Winning Critically Acclaimed New Album.

Transport Systems is about movement and progression: moving through past injuries so as to come out on the other side, letting go of all internalized phobias, moving toward a time and place where we are beyond strict boundaries and constricting labels, beyond black and white, beyond binary gender and sexuality, beyond all simplistic ideas of identity.

Music is the ultimate transport system. It allows us to escape the world while still being engaged with it. It moves us—physically, metaphysically and emotionally. Music can also lead us forward into the future.

Go where the music takes you and…transport yourself.

WHAT INDUSTRY AND PRESS ARE SAYING ABOUT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS:
“Ari wrote a very personal album and the lyrics attest to the battles that he’s been through... he writes from the heart.”
- CLIVE DAVIS

“Gold takes the listener to fresh places.”
- PEOPLE Magazine

“Ari Gold combines everything we ever loved about Michael and Janet...and Transport Systems is pretty much his Thriller--a musically and lyrically ambitious tour de force of modern sexuality, as concerned with turning heads as it is torsos. Its the kind of exuberant soul boogie George Michael once made...and it gives us hope for the future of sexy pop.”
- INSTINCT Magazine

“Ari Gold certainly stands out from the pack...[he] deserves credit for tackling lyrical subjects not usually linked with dance pop which he boldly does throughout Transport Systems.” - ALL MUSIC GUIDE

“Gold’s music is both a declaration of love and a passionate rendition of identity politics. Luckily, Transport Systems is also ridiculously catchy, locking Gold’s themes into another firm R&B tradition — sneaking in the subversive lyrics through smooth vocals and clean production.”
- The FORWARD

“Gold''s arrangements combine house, R&B, pop, electro, hip-hop, smooth jazz and rock, both soft and hard, with his soulful vocals for a radio-ready album that sounds like a greatest-hits collection.” - https://www.tradebit.com

"“A true pop collection infused with R&B danceable rhythms and slick production, Transport Systems is an album that for my money ranks up there with that of the years breakout artist Robin Thicke...a brilliant album.” - https://www.tradebit.com

“A pop music masterpiece.”
– OUT&ABOUT, Nashville

Transport Systems is about movement and progression, transportation and transformation. Beneath infectious grooves, thick harmonies and melodic hooks, the album boasts topics ranging from the down low phenomenon (“Mr. Mistress”), gender identity (“Transport Me”), gay relationships (“Good Relationship)”, spirituality and forgiveness (“I Can Forgive You,”), crystal meth addiction (“Feeding The Fire”) and human rights (“Human”). For the first single, the horn driven, earth wind and fire-esque retro house jam “Where The Music Takes You,” Gold collaborated with Emmy Award Winning Producer Joe Hogue (of >HitPlay) and VH1’s “Born To Diva” Sasha Allen to express the eternal theme of “To thine own self you can be true.”

Multi-platinum selling, Grammy nominated Capitol records out artist Dave Koz lends his smooth sound to prove that “Love Wasn’t Built In A Day.” “Mr. Mistress,” an unlikely R&B/Disco record, comes from the perspective of a man who finds out he’s having an affair with a married man; Ari sings, “I won’t be your Mr. Mistress / Won’t be your man on the side / What you gonna tell your wife and children? / That you creep on the down low and you’ve been telling them lies?” On “Ride To Heaven, ” Ari pays homage to his dance roots--having literally come out of the NYC club scene--with this cheeky, electro disco romp. For “Transport Me” Ari worked with longtime collaborator Steve Skinner (Akon, Jewel, Dian Ross) to imagine being transported “to another place / another time” where there are no limitations to the concepts of gender, sexuality and race: “Take me someplace where the core of me isn’t up for debate….the system is not working / this system is flawed.”

Not since Eminem performed with Elton John have we heard a collaboration between a gay soul singer and a straight hip-hop artist as on “Human” with special guest rapper, Mr. Man--a reworking of the 80’s Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis penned Human League hit, turned into a human rights anthem. To complete the sonic landscape of Transport Systems, Ari teamed up with 2x Grammy award winning mixer, engineer and producer Bob Rosa for the finishing touches.

Sexy, smart and soulful, the buzz has already begun that Transport Systems is a breakthrough album for this groundbreaking artist.
