Details:
Chandra Moon, based in Bristol, UK started song writing in 2005 and since then, inspired by the wealth of songwriting talent in Bristol, her creative juices haven''t stopped flowing!

Influenced by her love of music from the 70s to the present and her wealth of life experience, her lyrics reflect a lifetime of highs and lows.

Chandra Moon plays piano and flute and is a self-taught guitarist.

Her great passion though, is drumming - and it is from the African drum beats she has studied over the years that many of the songs originate.

Her debut album, Full Circle, is a diverse collection of songs ranging from rock with a tinge of drum and bass, latin beats, blues, ballad and ambient.

"...If you like dreamy, thoughtful folk and you''ve worn out those old Nick Drake LPs handed down from your older siblings, then here''s a tonic for the morning-after-the-night-before. Soulful, melodic and chilled, Chandra Moon''s album ''Full Circle'' rests on slick, uncluttered production boasting some enchanting vocals backed by dreamy strings, classical guitar, double bass and woodwind.

Chandra Moon''s topical lyrics offer some sentimental, sometimes quite cutting thoughts on life, death, politics and relationships. The opener ''Fiery Hoop'' offers some chilled soulful pop-rock backed by gentle fluttering beats and fretless bass before the album mellows further into more acoustic territory built around classical guitar.

It''s not all chilled though. Half way through the track-listing, the pounding drum intro of ''Rocking Horse'' suddenly punctuates the previously tranquil atmosphere to deliver a scornful tale of reprisal and divorce. Other styles on the twelve track platter include the cha-cha feel of ''Haven''t Known You Very Long'' and the rousing, anthemic build-up of penultimate cut ''People of This Earth''. If you like KD Lang, Ryan Adams or Morcheeba, this may well be an album for you" - Bristol Rocks 28.01.08

Meticulously recorded and produced in collaboration with Richard Bloom at Chapel Studio, Bristol, UK this album deserves a place in your collection.
