Joe Deans is an independent singer/songwriter in Louisville, KY. His debut album release, “Time Zero”, is best described as acoustic-driven alternative/rock with a mix of electric guitars and remains grounded with a modern, mainstream sound. Joe Deans grew up in the Louisville area and attended college at the University of Kentucky in the late 1990’s. There, he regularly entertained the college crowd at the “World Famous Two Keys Tavern” with his solo-acoustic act playing a diverse mix of cover songs and original music. Upon graduation, Joe’s musical focus turned inward as he further developed his own music and set his sights back on the recording studio.
His music is influenced by the 90’s alternative/grunge rock movement along with more recent bands including: Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, R.E.M., Counting Crows, Radiohead, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band and Matchbox Twenty among others.
“Time Zero” was recorded at both Bisig Impact Group and Mom’s Recording Studio. The cover art was designed by Ashton Advertising.
