"I have no idea where it came from," he says of his unique approach to the game. "It just happened. It just felt like the natural progression. I started as a DJ, then I just couldnt resist all this creative stuff happening." Montage has just completed his first official release, The M Album, set to hit the streets early 2008. He has also formed his own indie lable, Cali Heights Records, rostering a collective of outstanding musicians ranging from strictly Hip-hop producers to solo guitatists.

Born Philip Corbin on August 9, 1979, Montage is a 8-year veteran of the hip-hop music scene, appearing on shows such as The World Famous Wake Up Show with Sway (MTV) & Tech and the ESPN Summer X Games. With a history and scope of activities as varied and jam-packed as his native city, San Jose, it''s no wonder why Montage is about to storm the industry.
