The New Sunday Toast was created as an avenue to fuse eclectic songwriting, inctricately coordinated arrangements and the pulsing energy of an improvisational live show. Formed in New Orleans in 2006, The New Sunday Toast''s efforts culminated in Chicago in ''07 with recording sessions that would become Prog. Garaj. Jaz. The band''s debut features the bright, soulful vocals of Rachel Brotman interwoven with innovative harmonic arrangements over a diverse range of forward-thinking rhythms.
More than just a band, NST is a consciousness, and is involved in heavy collaboration with local New Orleans artists and writers.
