This cd has been a labour of love and I, as songwriter, have had wonderful support from great musicians. All of us have played in a variety of different bands over the years and the skills and experience gained are in ample evidence on this album. We all seem to agree that this is some of the best work we''ve ever done - so much so that work on volume two is well underway!
Since my musical tastes are wide, it is inevitable that the songs cover/acknowledge a number of different genres: from the country sounds of ''Back To the Start,the lyrically tongue-in-cheek reggae of ''So Physical'',the indie/rock sound of ''I''m Not The One''to the out and out Rockabilly homage of ''Rockabilly Run'',it''s been a joy exploring the potential of these songs. I hope such feelings are communicated to you.
