Sons of Kalal''s main focus is to give a wake up call to all fans and critics who thought the riotous days of live music were dead. Its all about the live show and trust me they play a lot of them. They are armed with four MC''s, turntables, and the occasional guitar or piano. Sons Of Kalal originally formed to only play live shows; they wanted to be the event to see. They saw a void in the Hip-Hop genre. There was no excitement or buzz about a hip-hop group that you just had to see live. After a year of performing the group had such a solid fan base and such a surprising request for CD''s they hit the studio and decided it was time to make an album. Sons Of Kalal recently released a pre-release album called No-Plan-B featuring LB and Apeshit from Trap Jaw Affiliates in addition to their core members. The group could be compared to such acts as the Beastie Boys, Run DMC, House Of Pain, Public Enemy, Leaders of The New School, and Tribe Called Quest. Good old school style group Hip-Hop! They have shared stages with Slaine from La Coka Nostra, Black Madeen, Nachilus Kezuck, Journalist Bandoo, LB, and many other popular New England based Hip-Hop/Reggae acts. Sons of Kalal are Co-Headlining The Keep It Green Tour starting April 16th with 2007 Urban Music Awards best new Caribbean artist Nachilus Kezuck and dropping there first album, summer of 2008 called No-Plan-B. They have steady video plays on Catch The Vibe Live TV aired in Maine and New Hampshire and steady radio plays on 105.9FM The Vibe out of Boston. Keep an eye out for Sons of Kalal. They will be working hard, playing local shows, touring and promoting their products and events well into the future!
