Eric Petersen has a gift for melody and being able to transport the listener
on a journey with his music, at once orchestral, organic and electronic,
his is a unique and original way of looking at the world.
growing up in San Jose in a big musical family, his Mom a classical pianist,
Pop, a jazz and country music fan who also loved the Who and Puccini,
Brothers Marc and Chris both great musicians in their own right,
both contributing to the San Francisco music scene in the 60''s and 70''s.
His is a life filled with music, child hood friends included Lyle Workman,
( Beck,Todd Rundgren,Jellyfish, and now Sting among many others )
Joe Palermo,a multi-talented drummer and educator. and His band mates
Gordon Rhodes,Tim Sanz and Mako Natsume in the band Blues Hat from https://www.tradebit.com contributed to the classic " Mr Euphoria " in 1983 as synthesist.
He also performed at Benaroya Hall at home in Seattle as part of the Seattle Composers Alliance in June 2005. to rave reviews
and now gives us Neon in the Black. a powerhouse of texture, melody and
movement.
