Details:
The story of Robert Grenier continues with his third release, 2008''s "This Town Is Alive". After working as a street musician in TX and traveling the northeast(2006''s "Streets Of L.A.") and returning to Western NY (2007''s "Ripperfish"), Robert finds himself drawn to his hometown of Rochester NY. He plays on the streets, sleeps in parks, befriending ex-cons, gang members, acid-damaged punk rockers, deadheads and countless others along the way. He then travels to NYC to explore the music scene, sleeping in alleys and playing to any who will listen. "This Town Is Alive" and "Little Black Book" were written during the summer of 2007, and were recorded December 2007 in Rochester NY.
