Andrew Krasilnikov was born in 1984 in Moscow, Russia. He started to play saxophone at age of 9 in music school. Between 1999 and 2003 he attended the Moscow College of Jazz Arts where he studied under Sergei Rezantsev. In 2003, Andrew entered Gnesins'' Russian Academy of Music where he studied with the best saxophone tutor in Russia Alexander Oseichuk. Andrew has taken part in the following jazz festivals: Jazz at the Hermitage Garden (Moscow 2005, 2007); Eurasia (Orenburg, Russia 2005 ); Russian Night in Siena with Igor Butman Big-Band https://www.tradebit.com (Italy 2006) .
Andrew played and recorded with the best Russian musicians, also in august 2006 he recorded a CD with a Polish jazz trio , played on tour arround Russia with world known drummer Billy Cobham https://www.tradebit.com in April and September 2007, and also performed as special guest with the International Big-Band https://www.tradebit.com featuring Dennis Rowland https://www.tradebit.com in Germany ( October 2007) .
In April 2007 Andrew released his first album called "Serpentine"
In may 2007, he entered Berklee College of Music on scholarship. He is studing with George Garzone and Joe Lovano.
