Billie Sue is a music teacher living in northern California. She honed her singer/songwriting skills in the clubs of New York and the cafes of Berkeley, California. She''s sung in bars, parks, churches, on street corners in New Orleans, in department stores, and on stage. She writes and sings in several genres, from folk to rock to jazz, as well as serious old-time front-porch Americana. The words to her songs usually come first, inspiring the music.
