Larry Bullion spent his late teens and early 20''splaying organ and ketboards for recording artists, such as The Inkspots, The Hilltoppers and The Del Vikings. Played on recordings of Moody River, Ballad of the Bell Witch, Lonely Women make good lovers, and many other local Nashville hits.
Thru out the 70''s Larry toured with Vegas styled show acts, such as Brenda Lee''s Casuals, The Executives, The Memphis Horns, and was an opening act for the Bob Hope Show, Joey Heathering Show and Frank Sinatra Jr. Performed on Jesus Christ Superstar, The Sound of Music. and played some of the top show rooms in America, The Latin Casino, Shepards The Beverly Hills, Sutmillers,The Pazazz, The Moonraker, and The Trump.
Larry has worked with musical greats of varied styles like Jerry Reed, Earl Gaines, Roscoe Shelton, Gene Allison James Nixon, Lorrie Morgan, Tommy Cash, Billy Cox, Buddy Miles, Ted Jarrett and Saundra Wright
Larry,s broad musical experience has been harnessed in a variety of ways from organ trio, solo piano to large bands,
playing Jazz, Pop, R&B, Gospel, and Blues.
Larry''s original music spans the experence of growing up listening to Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billy Holiday, Lou Rawls, The Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, and Horace Silver.
The music you will hear on these releases is pensive, happy, sad and fun and funky. Larry does not hold back any emotion from getting to his fingers.
