FAMILY FOUNDATIONS
According to Scriptural narrative of Abraham’s family linage, the iniquity of deception was randomly identified, which indirectly became a stronghold that affected the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jacob’s sons in their generations. (See Genesis 12:10–20, 20, 26:1–11, 27:1–40, 37:12–36.) On the other hand, the New Testament example of Lois, Eunice, and Timothy highly reveals the richness of a heritage of faith.
I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.(II Timothy 1:5.)
When we recognize how our lives are negatively influenced by our ancestors, we can take action appropriately to that influence by sincerely bringing the entire family line into prayer of repentance. We should also be thankful and celebrate the good that has been passed down through our families foundations.
For as much as we know the importance of building a good foundation towards a goal or vision, most times we are in a hurry to carry out careful and proper analysis about the subject. When a Foundation is bad it has no respect of our ignorance, status and age. It is not a religious creed; it’s the reality of life. The submission is this, whether you know or believe, it has grip on you. Primarily, we are narrowing down this discuss on the foundations that affects our lives and destiny.
The purpose of this book is to address faulty family foundations in the light of God’s word and activate salvation and deliverance where necessary. Principally, the family is the foundation of every human born on the earth. So most of the troubles we face are traceable to our originality. Many factors spark the interest, including the root of the man and woman that give birth to you, the things you have done which directly or indirectly affects the already laid down structure.
Our ancestors sinned and are no more, and we bear their punishment. Lamentation 5:7.
Meanwhile, it is vital to quickly note that the Family Foundation before that of your immediate parents has a strong influence over you, of what happens to your life or destiny. If there are negative occurrences before them definitely it will have impact upon your life and destiny because of the blood pattern. The need to emphasize the spiritual and social effects of family foundation is very important because a foundation is increasingly a popular life vehicle to what a person becomes. Discovery has shown that without the proper guidance regarding pursuing of freedom, many family foundations has become overwhelmed and find itself not properly administering deliverance according the recommendations of scriptures and has become superficial, overzealous, and dysfunctional towards getting a formidable result as it concerns proper family foundation.
Against this background, it is important we establish that any family that dreams about having fulfillment at achieving a solid foundation is centered on the answers to three questions: How engaged are family members in fighting to sustain or achieve good family values, are they getting the needed results, and are they making the impact they want? “The more the family leadership can do to reduce or eradicate spiritual, moral and social errors on the foundational structures, the more time families have to enjoy their lives and destiny. Many life challenges are traceable to our foundations, this problems seems to keep reoccurring as a result of ignorance.
My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.
Hosea 4:6.
Note that lack of knowledge has being seen as the mother of destruction of most foundations; Ignorance is a tragedy to any person or family. They are my people that are thus destroyed; their relation to God as his people heighten both their sin in not taking pains to get the understanding of that God whose command they were under and with whom they were brought into covenant, and likewise the sin of those who should have taught them; God set his children to school them on the knowledge of His word, but most of His Children never commit their mind to them nor took any pains with knowing the word of His grace.
People rejecting the knowledge of God’s word, forfeit a firm foundation and establishes their own woos without knowing. At any time we forgot the law of God, neither desire nor endeavor to retain it in mind, nor to transmit the remembrance of it to their posterity, and therefore ironically without knowing we are we drafting into a breech in communication with God. When we don’t educate our foundation, as we ought to have done, in the knowledge of God and their duty to him, and therefore God will renounce such a people, as not in covenant with him. Note, If parents do not teach their children, when they are young, to remember their Creator, they cannot expect that their Creator should remember them and fight battles link to their foundations.
Christian Family leaderships are required to seek families to concentrate on building godly foundations which in turn metamorphose on changing the world for the better. This book is written to awake families to expect some stress with the workload or family dynamics in fighting to achieve and maintain a unify solid foundation, which can be obtained by getting together as often as possible to figure out how to help each other grow a stronger foundation.
When dealing with family foundation it is very important we take a comprehensive investigation inside out, identify generational sins, and break free from the curse once and for all.
