Clobetasol is a topical (skin-applied) corticosteroid used to treat skin disorders including moderate to severe psoriasis and eczematous dermatitis that havent reacted well to other corticosteroids. Psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp are treated with a scalp lotion and wash. Clobetasol reduces edema, redness, and itching in the body.
