Details:
The details are a bit cloudy after 16 years, so you''ll have to excuse me. Maybe it was better to be forgotten along with the psycho relationship I was in around 1992, or maybe it was the fact that I slept through most of my high school classes and the following summer and years. Either way, the band formed during my senior year in high school not having a particular genre in mind, and we plugged ahead playing regular local CA shows, recorded 2 albums (well, audio cassettes really) over a 1 year lifespan, and played with some pretty cool bands. Some of the more well known bands being: The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Nuclear Rabbit, The Brownies, Hunt Sales and The Big 3, Tin Machine, and The Lunachicks.

I''ve merged both of our albums onto one complete Tranquil Insanity compilation, and tried to maintain the best audio clarity possible from the old degrading cassette masters, which by the way we used to manually dub all of the tapes we sold one by one (boy that was a dumb idea looking back). Viva la CD technology and MP3.

A few years later in 1996 I started the punk band BOY KICKS GIRL with the same high school friend/drummer who was in Tranquil Insanity, and that band''s early tragic break up was then followed by my next band KAMIKAZE RADIO, a completely new lineup of members.

In between the Tranquil Insanity and BOY KICKS GIRL years I also secretly recorded an electronic solo industrial/experimental project called ECHELON 7. All the projects I created here are currently (or scheduled to be) remastered from the original source analog tapes or digital media. Those fans stopping by to pick up my entire life''s work to date, you are in luck. IT WILL ALL BE AVAILABLE, EVERYTHING I COULD FIND.

Solo project ECHELON 7 will also see a late 2008/2009 release of a ''second'' album. I had so much unfinished source material on DAT tapes that I now have to buy gear to record vocals on about 8 full length songs before sending them off for mastering, then to CDBaby for sale. I could have released the songs in raw form, but it doesn''t do them justice at all. So enjoy ECHELON 7''s first album this year, because the second one is even better. You have that to look forward to.

Thanks for listening, and your continued support. Please buy the songs, and do not rip me off and download the pirated music. I have and will always be 100% independent, and the only way for me to continue making music is through sales, and affording the costs and equipment associated with recording out of my own pocket. In fact I''ve spent more money making music than I ever have had returned to date. It''s an ongoing passion, but a starving artist needs to eat at some point after 19 some-odd years of playing. You get the point. XOXO -Kevin
