Agent 85''s INFILTRAITOR was orignally released in the mid summer of 2007. It features 21 tracks of quality hip hop, quality beats accompanied by quality lyrics and flows. Agent 85 himself is originally born in raised in East Oakland, CA, home to such artists as Too $hort, Ant Banks, Raphael Saadiq and others. Having grown up around these artists and supporting them along the way, Agent 85 has come to appreciate Bay Area pioneers in the music industry, even having various opportunities to work with Digital Underground, Spice 1, Tony Toni Tone, Suga T (E-40''s sister and member of The Click), just to name a few, in a variety of promotional projects: album covers, graphic design, comic books (oh, you caught on! Since 1992, Agent 85 has been recording hip hop with various industry friends and family including recording songs with his group The FAM (formerly Nth Level) and the Halo Crew (out of Sacramento, CA). In 2007, he partnered with EQ of Blazin'' Productionz, B1 the Capo, formerly of the Bay Area Hip Hop group, The Black Panther Fugitives, and Cheryl A. known as Lady Juggernaut to form Juggernaut Records, LLC. Agent 85 is the first artist to be released on this label.
The CD is intent on concentrating on the perfect combination of beats, rhymes, lyrics, flows and mic presence. Found throughout this CD is a large variety of production that provide the soundscape to 85''s honest and skillful baritone flow. No song sounds the same and the CD covers a variety of topics from a one night stand at a club to blatant exasperation of the beatdown we receive from the system ("yay America!").
Any Hip Hop purist, enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates tight lyrics, tight beats and a solid overall concept in an album would do well to pick up this CD.
