The Irish Mist has been a staple of the New York Irish scene for almost 20 years. They perform at weddings, festivals, pubs and parties.
This album, Home To Ireland, includes some of their most requested songs. The CD includes traditional songs such as "Will You Go Lassie Go" and "Spancil Hill". They have recorded the songs "Summer Roads" and "Red Is The Rose", written by their friend and colleague, Tommy Makem. The versatility of the band is evident in their versions of "Walk Away Renee" (The Left Bank), "All I Have To Do Is Dream" (Everly Brothers), "Over and Over" (The Dave Clark Five), and "Grow Old With Me" (John Lennon). The band also recorded two original songs "Home To Ireland" and "Through The Heather".
The Irish Mist, made up of members Alex Basile, Ronnie D’Addario and Michael Groarke., handle all vocals and instrumentation on the album. They hope this becomes one of your favorites.
