Nerve Twofiveeight is a four piece riff factory from Waterbury, CT., whose music draws inspiration from both the fluidity of jam-bands and the drive of hardcore heavy rock, while adding a unique blend of post-modern energy to their music that pays tribute to the classics. As a follow up to Nerve''s self-recorded 1999 debut demo Tension, "The Goggles do Nothing" is their first full length release under the indie label Jimmykick Records. The band''s sound has matured to more diverse themes, and they continue to hold a heavy hand in all of the production aspects of this album; opting for an Enhanced CD which includes video shot during the making of TGdN, web links, and other goodies.
