4ever1 is a contemporary Christian band from Upstate New York. Their spiritually uplifting music is a unique blend of worship and evangelical songs with a country flavor. With deep, meaningful lyrics, the sincerity and focus of 4ever1 is apparent. Since 2004, 4ever1 has been playing music to glorify God. From prisons to churches; from homeless shelters to community events; from nursing homes to children’s events, 4ever1 has touched the hearts of people of all ages and from all walks of life.
With a wide range of influences, the band is comprised of –
Donna Walsh (lead vocals, acoustic guitar) – Her influences include country music artists including Randy Travis, George Straight, and the popular country music of the early 1990’s. She also enjoys Anne Murray, Phil Collins, Third Day, and those hair bands of the 80’s.
Joe Munafo (keys, strings, vocals) - Joe has been most strongly influenced by progressive rock artists, some contemporary rock, southern country rock, and classical music.
Wayne Grosvenor (electric bass, stand up bass) - The true love of Wayne''s life (second, of course, to God and his wife) is music, especially jazz, funk, salsa, black gospel and reggae.
Jimmy Sickels (drums) – “Jimbo’s” biggest influence was Bobby Columby from Blood Sweat and Tears. He also loves jazz, rock, dance music, and Disco!
Scott MacDougal (lead guitar) - Some of Scott’s influences are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, BB. King. Merle Haggard, George Jones, The Kentucky Head Hunters, Lynard Skynard, Eddie Van Halen, Hill Song, and Mercy Me. Scott also likes a wide range of rock bands including 3 Doors Down, Evanesance, and Creed.
