MP3 Bob Karwin - Have Sun, Will Travel

The soundtrack to your next vacation.

14 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Trop Rock, COUNTRY: Americana

Details:
Bob Karwin began his music career in 1990, playing to drunken mobs in the Irish pubs of Boston, Massachusetts. He quickly made a name for himself in Beantown by being able to tame an unruly crowd fired by Guinness and Jack Daniels using only his guitar and a microphone. In 1993, Bob packed up his Jeep and moved to sunny San Diego. His blend of humor and thoughtful song writing struck a chord with Southern Californians and he began to develop a following at his rowdy one man shows.

Cole Coleman of the L.A. magazine Music Connection has called Bob''s original songs "well-crafted, witty, sensitive at times," noting his voice to be "reminiscent of Jim Croce." And the San Diego Reader’s Richard Meltzer declared in his review column that “Bob Karwin is everything music is about.”

"Have Sun, Will Travel" is Bob''s fifth release. It contains three and a half brand new songs along with totally reworked versions of tunes from his first cd, "A Little Something for Everyone." There is also a bonus track, Bob''s parrothead anthem, "Never Met the Man."

Bob’s music is heard in regular rotation on Jimmy Buffett''s internet radio station, Radio Margaritaville, the BBC’s Dawnbreaker, as well as many other broadcast and internet stations.

On stage, he has shared a bill with Barenaked Ladies and performed with luminaries of the sunburn circuit including members of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefers such as Greg "Fingers” Taylor, Amy Lee and Doyle Grisham. He is also regularly called upon to spice up events put on by Margaritaville Tequila.

Bob has been seen at national events such as "Six String Music" in New Orleans, "Phins to the West" in Laughlin, NV, and “Migration” in Long Beach, CA, as well as bars and Parrot Head Club phlockings too numerous to mention.
