She composed her song, "Old Monterey" after leaving home and living in San Francisco for many years; She now resides in the Napa Valley. The majority of her cd compositions are in the classical genre but she hasn''t restricted her composing to the classics--she has composed many middle of the road ballads,an opera,and a musical; Ms. Canepa leaves herself open to what moves her creatively.
