If this is your first acquaintance with my works, perhaps you will be interested in what it is, and how I make it.
My music is an analogue of the fantasy genre in literature. Many stories and compositions have been inspired by works of surrealists and writers of fiction. I think it will be interesting to those who are looking for something new, outside the surrounding reality. To some extent, it could be seen as an attempt to create the future or at least as an effort to imagine what we want it to look like. The means of expression that I use are in most cases originally synthesized sounds or natural instruments that have undergone processing.
Integrated digital sound processing technologies allow creating almost any intended sounding and going beyond any framework. The titles of the songs, in general, reflect the starting point upon which a musical texture and melody is created. In my compositions I try to choose those sounds and combinations thereof associations with which are aroused in my mind by the imaginary visual image. In an attempt to grow accustomed to this image I fully immerse myself in a virtual space. The studio is isolated from extraneous sounds as much as possible. The light is off, only the image on the display in front of me, which helps to create the effect of presence. Gradually, progressive associations begin to appear in my mind, the space is filled with images and sounds. This is the way the preliminary sketches are drawn, which are in future structured, completed and formed as complete compositions.
This album is a soft, embracing musical landscape, perfect for calming the mind and body relaxation. Although I tend to prefer strict geometry to chaos, in this album, the strictness of designs is minimized. Translucency and multilevel, interpenetration and merger. That is the basic concept of the album. Regarding the style, it is a blend of ambient and space music. It’s an attempt to flow through the space in a dark-purple sounding of clouds. Beyond boundaries of reality. Like the flow of time. This album is good as a background, to help to facilitate meditation and falling asleep, and at the same time just nice instrumental music.
