over the space of two years while writing, recording and playing in san francisco and northern california there seemed to be a batch of songs that evolved around each other and didn''t quite fit with everything else i was doing. when i got to florida and had some time to look back and organize my thoughts it was obvious that these songs needed to be recorded as their own record. so after months of recording and mixing they have all come together as ''the black heart recordings''. i wanted to keep everything as stripped down and acoustic based as i could so almost everything was played live with some minor exceptions. i hope you enjoy.
