Olympus Mans is made of cousins. Dave Spivey (keys, vocals) and Brent Hedrick (drums, samples) live in Athens, GA, and enjoy a duo scenario because of the freedom and spontaneity it offers. The samples that they record at home are especially effective in their live show, where the Mans can generate a full sonic sock-full-of-quarters to the face, and deliver songs with transcendental ferocity.
Their first attempt to put this on record is called "Shelf Life", an 8-song EP released early in 2008.
