Flash grew up a classical pianist and won many awards for his piano concerto and string quartets that he composed while in High School.
After college, he fronted the East-Village folk/rock band, Acoustic Blue, playing regularly at such venues as Wetlands, CBGB''s, and Sin-é.
To make sure his dog had food in his bowl, he began scoring commercials and theatre productions.
His commercial credits include national campaigns for Microsoft, Life Cereal, Touchstone Energy and dozens of others.
In the theatre world, he has scored plays at such prominent theatres as Lincoln Center, Playwrights Horizons, The Geffen Playhouse, The Hartford Stage Co., The Cleveland Play House, and The Old Globe in San Diego.
In the fashion world, his long time collaboration with haute-couteur designer Zang Toi has led to the release of "Music from the Zang Toi Collections".
Each season, Flash takes the inspiration of the collection, which ranges from James Bond to An Asian in Scotland, and creates a blend of poetic, rhtymic and song elements to accompany the models down the runway.
